Episode 12- Nayana Fielkov

Nayana Fielkov is a performing artist dedicated to the work of play.She is co creator of multi-award winning RAGMOP Theatre (http://ragmoptheatre.com/), Habitats (https://threelittlereddots.org/habitats/), Underbelly and The Myrtle Sisters.  (The Myrtle Sisters)She brings together the mediums of clown, dance, mask, magic, song, and physical comedy. She teaches and studies Clown, and is an avid contact dancer. Gillian Barber Bio - Gillian currently teaches acting, musical theatre and business in the Theatreprograms at Capilano University.She has been acting and directing in Canada since moving from the UK, and has performed in more than50 shows with the Arts Club, Vancouver Playhouse, Tamahnous Theatre, Vancouver Fringe, PresentationHouse, Centennial Theatre (Vancouver), Bastion Theatre (Victoria), Manitoba Theatre Centre(Winnipeg), The Citadel (Edmonton), Lunchbox Theatre and Alberta Theatre Projects (Calgary), TheNational Arts Centre (Ottawa), and has toured the UK with several Repertory companies. Episode 8- Tara Cheyenne

Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg, is an award winning creator, performer, choreographer, director, writer, and artistic director of Tara Cheyenne Performance, working across disciplines in film, dance, theatre, and experimental performance. She is renowned as a trailblazer in interdisciplinary performance and as a mighty performer "who defies categorization on any level". Along with her own creations Tara has collaborated with many theatre companies and artists including; Zee Zee Theatre, Bard on the Beach, ItsaZoo Theatre, The Arts Club, Boca De Lupo, Ruby Slippers, The Firehall Arts Centre, Vertigo Theatre (Calgary). 
 
With a string of celebrated solo shows to her credit (including bANGER, Goggles, Porno Death Cult, I can’t remember the word for I can’t remember, Body Parts, Pants), multidisciplinary collaborations, commissions and boundary bending ensemble creations Tara's work is celebrated both nationally and internationally.  Tara is known for her unique and dynamic hybrid of dance, comedy and theatre. She is sought after for creating innovative movement for theatre and has performed her full length solos and ensemble works around the world (highlights: DanceBase/Edinburgh, South Bank Centre/London, On the Boards/Seattle USA, High Performance Rodeo/Calgary etc.). Tara lives on the unceded Coast Salish territories with her partner composer/podcast producer Marc Stewart and their child Jasper. Episode 7- Shay Kuebler

Shay Kuebler works as a creative director, show director, artistic director and choreographer for some of the largest productions in entertainment, working with a range of performers from martial artists and Olympians to stunt performers and dancers.
"As a child of the 1980's, my love for action films and martial arts got me hooked on movement and storytelling. I started my theatre and martial arts training at the age of 5, and this led me to become a very good "generalist". I've travelled the world studying everything from Shaolin Kung Fu and Tap dance to Taiko drumming and physical theatre. I believe my versatility, and the values I carry from martial arts, enable me to be an asset on any production."

Episode 6- Catriona Leger

Catriona has worked across Canada as a professional actor, director, creator, movement and voice coach, producer, artistic director, intimacy director, and instructor for close to thirty years. She holds an MFA in Directing and BFA in Acting both from the University of British Columbia, is a graduate of École Philippe Gaulier in Paris, France, and is a recipient of the JBC Watkins Award for Theatre from the Canada Council for the Arts. Catriona is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor of Theatre at Thompson Rivers University, and serves on several committees for the Canadian Actors Equity Association. She once tended the garden at 24 Sussex for the right and honourable Jean Chretien, (he had lovely geraniums that summer), and she has lived all over Canada in several attic apartments as well as in a van, in places such as Vancouver, Ottawa, PEI, Halifax, Toronto, and now the bustling metropolis of Kamloops, BC. She has two dogs, who may or may not bark in the background during this podcast.

Episode 5- Patrice Bowler

Patrice Bowler is a Canadian multidisciplinary theatre artist from Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. She has professional experience
across a wide variety of performing and creative specialties such as movement directing; puppetry, intimacy directing, choreography,
performing, production management, and teaching. She is particularly passionate about using a consent based practice in devising and collaborating on new work, ensemble building, and evoking agency to embody physical storytelling. Currently, she is in the process of undertaking an MFA in Movement Directing and Teaching at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Episode 4-Dave Morris.

Dave Morris is a speaker, teacher, and storyteller, but mostly he's an improviser. He's been teaching, producing and performing improvisation around Canada and the world for over 20 years. He is the artistic director of the award-winning Paper Street Theatre co. in Victoria B.C., was a long-time volunteer and regional director for the Canadian Improv Games, and performs his one-man improvised storytelling shows to high acclaim. He has performed and taught at festivals around the world, including Seattle, Chicago, London, Berlin, Romania, Amsterdam, and many more across Canada. If you haven't seen him before, just know: he likes you already!

Episode 3- Steffanie Davis

Steffanie Davis is a seasoned actor, singer, dancer and model. Born and raised on the unceded, ancestral territories of the Coast Salish peoples or so called "Vancouver". She began her training at Capilano University in their musical theatre program and has been performing professionally across the country for over a decade. Last year she was one of ten performers chosen from across Canada to participate in the Leading Players Project in Toronto. She recently was seen in Vancouver on stage in "Someone Like You" at the Arts Club Theatre Company and Belle in Beauty & The Beast: The East Van Panto with Theatre Replacement. She's currently back at the Cultch performing in Robin Hood: The East Van Panto!
